CHARACTER
Name: Tinker Bell. 'Tink' for short.
Canon: Disney's Peter Pan and Disney Fairies series.
Timeline: Post Secret of the Wings.
If playing another character from the same canon, how will you deal with this?: N/A

Personality:
The first thing you should know about Tinker Bell is that if all you're expecting is a little yellow ball of light and a jingling sound, you'll be sorely mistaken when you meet her. Tinker Bell has a lot to bring to the table, and she's proud of it, thank you very much. She's quick to make friends and help others, and in a pinch, if she can find the right 'lost things' to use, she can dream up and create something out of this world to solve a problem out of some very simple objects. She's a Tinker-talent Fairy, after all, and although she wasn't happy with her talent at first, she soon realized that fixing things and inventing new ones was what she really loved to do, and that nobody's talent was unimportant. She sets high goals for herself and tries her best to achieve them - but when she doesn't, she exhibits her fatal flaws: anger and jealousy.

The second thing you should know about Tinker Bell is that she's got a very short fuse. She's easily frustrated, especially by those who pester her, even if they're one of her closest friends - she stormed off on a quest and wouldn't speak to her friend Terence after he broke a scepter and, in her rage, caused her to accidentally break a special stone needed for it. (It took her a long time, but they worked out their differences and came together to fix the scepter - but only after she'd had some time alone.) Being that she's so small, most beings larger than her can't hear her (or any other fairy, for that matter) when she talks. To others, fairy voices do sound like jingling bells. If you can understand her pantomiming, great - she'll definitely be able to have a conversation with you, then. If not, she'll try other ways of communication, but prepare for a very irritated little fairy on the other end. In addition, she values her wings fiercely, as they allow her to get around about as fast as someone three times her size. (She's only 5.5 inches tall.) If she either runs out of pixie dust, gets her wings wet, or her wings are subject to extreme cold for too long, she will not be able to fly. Taking Tink's flight is like taking her freedom away, so don't cross her when she's in this state.

The third thing you need to know about Tinker Bell is that she gets attached to people very quickly. She's got five best friends (Silvermist, Rosetta, Fawn, Iridessa, and Terence), and a twin sister (Periwinkle), and she'd do anything to help them, even if they irritate her sometimes, in Terence's case. She's even gone out of her way to help a fairy named Vidia who was captured by humans. At first, Vidia treated Tink condescendingly, but after both of them were captured, they began a more friendly relationship. Even though in this continuity, she has not met Peter Pan yet, she would later be attached to him most of all, and would show the lengths she would go to not have people she loves stolen away from her - showing her other fatal flaw, jealousy, when on multiple occasions she tried to lead Peter's friend Wendy to her death so she would not steal Peter away from her.

First Person:

[Tinker Bell's gathering small dropped objects she's found around the obelisk, stacking them one by one on top of eachother. She's calling them the same thing she did back in Pixie Hollow - 'lost things' and she's chattering about to herself as she works. Though she knows that most people who would be walking around near her wouldn't be able to understand her speech, it's just a habit she'd picked up and it's consoling her a bit now that she's so far from home.]

Okay, let's see...a thimble, two balls of string, three buttons...a bottlecap, it looks like....hmm.

[She flaps her tiny wings, pixie dust shining a trail behind her, as her stack grows higher and higher - to her, anyway. To an average human, the stack's only about a foot and a half tall.]

I have to save my pixie dust, so I can't fly so high...but maybe if I stack enough things and climb all the way up, I can see over the city, and I'll see the Pixie Dust Tree...and then I'll find my way home.

[She nods to herself and flutters over to a park bench, in hopes of finding more things to pile.]

Third Person:

It was pretty safe to say that this was the most horrifying experience Tink had been in since she thought Vidia was going to be put on display for all those human scientists to see. She had to hand it to Lizzie there - the girl really helped them back there. Vidia'd seemed a lot nicer to her since then, too.

Wait, no. That definitely wasn't the scariest thing she'd been through. That - that would have to go to the time when the frost machine broke and winter was coming to Pixie Hollow and threatened to frost the Pixie Dust Tree. Yeah, that was definitely the scariest thing ever. If it weren't for all those frost fairies from the Winter Woods that came to save them...well...she wasn't sure what would've become of Pixie Hollow.

Anyway, right now she had absolutely no control over her body, which was something she really didn't want to deal with right now, or ever. She was being thrown around the inside of some big metal box, and the box seemed to be moving faster and faster in a direction she couldn't pinpoint. Someone like Vidia who was faster than she was would be able to keep up with the box's movements, but she was having difficulty.

It didn't help that she didn't expect to be roused from her sleep by being jostled in every direction. She'd tucked herself into bed that night with a promise of bundling herself up to meet Periwinkle at the border of Pixie Hollow and the Winter Woods the next day for a snowball fight...but here she was, fighting to flap her tiny wings faster and faster so she would not smash into things.

When the door on the strange metal box finally opened, she was thrusted by sheer force out of it, and had to beat her wings quickly to stay afloat.

She was on the Mainland again...or at least she thought she was on the mainland.

And worst of all, she was running out of pixie dust. She'd have to conserve her flying, she thought, as she floated down to the ground, dusting herself off as she landed.

Taking a few hesitant steps, she opened her mouth, hoping that there might be a stray fairy around, and spoke for the first time on the Mainland since she'd seen Lizzy.

"Does anyone know where I can find some more pixie dust around here?"
